I recently ordered some new work shirts and a full zip hooded sweatshirt from Clothing4All.com. I wasn’t really expecting the shirts and hooded sweatshirt to be made of the quality that it was, for the low price that I paid for them. I was really impressed when I received them. I’ll be placing another order for some other clothing very soon from them.
I was walking through the mall the other day with my girlfriend and there were some people asking if anyone would be interested in participating in market research surveys. They offered twenty bucks per person to participate, so me and my girlfriend went ahead and did it. It took about 25 minutes and they paid us in cash. We usually don’t sign up for those surveys, but I’m glad we did this time.
With the holiday season fastly approaching, it’s time to start thinking of some Christmas gift ideas. I’m thinking about picking up a photo on canvas from CanvasOnDemand.com for my girlfriends parents. I’m not sure what I want to get for my girlfriend yet. I know I’ll get her a little jewelry for sure, but I want something else to go along with it.
Some of the other office managers and I are thinking about ordering some new office desks. There isn’t really anything horribly wrong with our current office desks, they just dont look as nice as they used to look. The finish is pretty worn and half of the drawers stick. Yeah, it’s time to order some new ones for sure. Hopefully we can all agree on which ones to buy and get them ordered as soon as possible.
My girlfriends parents anniversary is coming up and we couldn’t figure out what to get for them. They’ve been talking about needing some new luggage for a while, so my girlfriend and I have been browsing online for different luggage sets. I think we’ve found the one to give them. It’s on LuggageSource.com and it costs around $180. That really isn’t a bad price for a good set of luggage.

A friend of mine online saw an advertisement for PimpMyRide.com about 6 months ago. He went to the website and found a place to sign up and apply to get his car “pimped”. After about 6 months he received the following email:
Subject: Congratulations! You’ve been selected from PimpMyRide.com
Congratulations!! You’re application has been reviewed and you have been selected!! Please follow the link provided with details on how to complete your application process and Get Pimped!

He was excited at the mere possibility of having his car customized by the popular MTV television show. He forwarded the email to me and asked if I thought it was legitimate. When I read the email and saw that they were asking for an “application/processing fee”, it got me pretty suspicious. I checked around and apparently several people have been duped into sending money to them, in hopes of having their car fixed up and being on the MTV show. I came across a post on the consumer blog at ABC13.com titled “Houston woman finds Pimp My Ride web site has nothing to do with MTV” which can be found here: http://consumerblog.abc13.com/2007/09/houston-woman-f.html
The report explains how the PimpMyRide.com website actually works. The website is run by a company which is based out of the Caribbean island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis. The website also admits that it is in no way affiliated with MTV and claims the application/processing fee just makes the person eligible to receive discounts on auto parts and accessories.
Who knows how many people have been scammed into sending these people money. Do your friends and family a favor and pass this message on so that these scammers do not continue to make money by misleading unsuspecting people.
A friend of mine recently took my advice and stayed in an Orlando vacation home. My girlfriend and I have stayed in a few different vacation homes while on various vacations in the past, but I think Orlando, Florida was our favorite place.
