About a week ago I mentioned wanting to invest into some real estate. Well, I talked to my girlfriend’s father and he and I are going to be starting our own little real estate project. I’m pretty good with my hands so I can fix houses up that need it and he’s got money so he can easily buy some properties so we can fix them up and sell them. I won’t be making as much as him from the start since he’s going to be staking me at first. Once i can afford to go in half and half with him we will both be making some nice money.

A guy from my office just got back from a little fall getaway with his family. He went down to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to see some of his family that he never gets to see much anymore. From the way he describes it, it’s a very nice place if youre looking for a weekend getaway or a vacation. I’m going to check around for Pigeon Forge cabin rentals and see if I can put together a little weekend getaway for me and my girlfriend.

We had a little get together at my house the other night and someone left their cufflinks in our kitchen. I can’t figure out who left them there, so if youre reading this and you lost some cufflinks the other night, let me know. I called a few people and nobody is missing any cufflinks so I really have no idea who lost them.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I received some first communion invitations for her best friend’s daughter. We usually don’t go to this sort of thing, but it’s her best friend and she really wants to be there. I guess I have to get all dressed up and tag along with her. If it keeps her happy it’s worth it, I suppose.

Lately I’ve been thinking about investing some money into Arizona real estate. My girlfriend’s father dabbles in real estate and makes quite a bit of money doing it. He even offered to stake me the cash if I wanted to get into it. I should have taken him up on it. Who knows how much money I could have made by now.

My girlfriend wants to buy some Wicked tickets. She loves going to the theater and watching plays and that sort of thing. I’m not really into it but I’ll probably buy the tickets to surprise her. I hope she remembers me next year at the start of football season. I really enjoy going to football games but I won’t spend the money on tickets for myself.

A friend of mine from work recently went into a drug rehabilitation facility. He had to choose between the drugs and alcohol or his job and family. I think he made the right choice. He had been struggling at work and you could really tell something was going on. I had no idea he was using drugs on the job, though.

I won some Florida Gators tickets in a raffle we had at work today. A friend of mine offered to buy them for eighty bucks so I think I’m going to sell them to him. I like football and all, but I would much rather have the eighty bucks. I wish my office would start giving away money in these contests instead of random gifts.

A friend of mine has been working on his home theater room for a while now. He recently finished it off with some leather home theater seating. I’m very jealous of his home theater. He’s got a very nice projector with a pull down screen, nice surround sound speakers mounted on the walls all around the room and now he has some nice seating. I’m going to have to finish my theater room off some day.

Last week I had to replace my old wireless router. I had the thing for about two and a half years and it just wasnt functioning that great anymore. It was a Linksys wireless B router. I upgraded to the newest Linksys Wireless N VPN 802.11n router model WRVS4400N. This new 300mbps router is very fast when I need to transfer data between computers on my home network. I could not be happier with it.
