A friend of mine from work recently went into a drug rehabilitation facility. He had to choose between the drugs and alcohol or his job and family. I think he made the right choice. He had been struggling at work and you could really tell something was going on. I had no idea he was using drugs on the job, though.

Often co-workers and even close family members are surprised to learn of an addiction problem. Your friend will have a long road ahead of him, but with the right information and help he has taken the first step to recovery.
