Support Soldiers’ Angels and America’s Troops

Support Soldiers’ AngelsI am a proud supporter of Soldiers’ Angels. I beleive that they provide a wonderful service by ensuring that our troops receive mail, cards and gifts throughout the year and during the holidays. Some of our troops don’t receive any kind of mail from home and I can’t even imagine what that must feel like, especially through the holiday season. Soldiers’ Angels uses everything that they receive to send mail, cards and gifts to our troops and to ensure that our troops know that they are appreciated.

Check out their website at www.SoldiersAngels.org or click the link above. If you can afford it, donate something. Even if it’s as little as $5 dollars. They accept Paypal donations.

I just happened to come across your post about supporting “soldiers angels”.I actually was awile ago planning on doing that.My husband and my best friends husband are both deployed together. They are both in iraq currently and have been for the past year.My friends husband forwarded her several letters, packages and pictures that he received from a specific “angel”.The letters were questions about what he prefered sexually in bed. Then this “angel” described in great deal what turns her on and so on.In the package were several pics of her half naked and a couple full nude ones. This women went on to also say if he was married she didnt mind because she was “open minded” My friend and i were disgusted at a women using the site as her personnal stud service and assumed this was most likely a rare case.We both wrote lengthy emails to soldiers angels explaining the letters, packages and pictures. She offered to forward all of this to them if theyd like to see it for themselves,we left our full names, husbands names, our home numbers and addresses.we received absolutely no response. When this was brought up at our FRG meeting,to our surprise this actually was quite common, with this particular organization. Our FRG leader told us how herself and many other FRG leaders have heard these same stories. It seems this organization claims to closely moniter all letters, packages and claim to not put up with this type of thing and that this strictly is for supporting our soldiers not trying to snag one.But when called on this we received no response whatsoever. So as my FRg leaders and now me and many, many other wives and families left at home now know. This organization actually does alot more harm than good. When the soldiers families are hurt at home, the soldier is hurting. So this organization in my eyes and many many others is a disgusting non regulated and free way for countless women to use as there own personnal free stud service.Im sure this was started with good intentions. But if they cannot not regulate at the very least respond and look into reports of innapropriate behavior they shouldnt be running it.But again they may be to busy with all the other complaints they receive.Im sure my friends husband wasnt the first and wont be the last.
