I love stuff like Johnny Knoxville’s “Jackass” and Bam Margera’s “CKY” videos. I recently started watching a show called Kenny vs Spenny on Comedy Central. I had no idea that the show had been airing in Canada for 3 previous seasons. South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are probably the only reason why the show made it onto American television via Comedy Central. The first time I caught Kenny vs Spenny on tv was when I was bored and flipping through channels trying to find something to watch. I turned the channel to Comedy Central and stumbled onto something that quickly became one of my favorite shows. Netflix currently has Kenny vs Spenny season 1 (from 2003) in case anyone didn’t know.
If you haven’t seen Kenny vs Spenny, here is a random clip from the show:

I got my tax refund in the mail today and I’ve gotta say that I was not thrilled about the money I received. I thought it could have been much more that’s why I’m looking closely at car donation for next year. I’ve been driving around in my red Ford Explorer for years. It’s really time that I upgrade to a nice ride. At least by doing this I would be eligible for a tax reduction and would be giving for a worthy cause as well. I’m actually looking into donating my vehicle to Car Angel (CarAngel.com). It’s a non-profit organization and all of the money they make from selling donated cars and other items is used to make various childrens videos.
Here is a clip from one of their childrens videos:
Right now on the Howard Stern show they’re playing “The History of Howard Stern”. It’s a five-part audio documentary that chronicles Howard Stern’s life and career. The History of Howard Stern includes interviews with friends and family as well as old Howard Stern radio show clips and more. So far it’s been pretty interesting and entertaining.
If you don’t have Sirius, or if you just havent been able to listen for some reason, you can check out the current MP3s on this RapidShare page: The History of Howard Stern MP3s (the password for the page is sternrules) or you can check out the audio trailer for it here: audio trailer.
The schedule for The History of Howard Stern is as follows:
December 17th at 6 am ET - “The Early Years”
December 18th at 6 am ET - “Howard’s Radio Journey Begins”
December 19th at 6 am ET - “Mr. Stern Goes To Washington”
December 20th at 6 am ET - “Welcome To The Big Apple”
December 21st at 6 am ET - “End Of The WNBC Era”
*I didn’t create the MP3s on RapidShare. I am simply sharing the link I found.
December 21st, 2007 - I just noticed that Act 4 “Welcome To The Big Apple” has been added to the RapidShare page. So far Acts 1 through 4 have been added, leaving only one more to go. Lovely.
December 22nd, 2007 - Act 5 “End Of The WNBC Era” has been added to the RapidShare page, making The History of Howard Stern complete. It says Act 5 is the complete recording from the replay, not the original air that was cut off at the start.
In case you haden’t heard, Bam Margera’s uncle, Vincent “Don Vito” Margera, who was a popular character on the MTV series “Viva La Bam” has been sentenced in the case that involved him ‘groping’ three young girls, ages 12 to 14 during an autograph signing at a skate park last year. He was sentenced to 10 years to life of intensive supervised probation and was told that he can no longer portray his ‘character’ and appear on television, sign autographs or write a book about his experience.
Don Vito must also undergo mental health and substance abuse evaluations and register as a sex offender. He faces an additional 12 counts of allegedly violating his bonds. He was given permission to travel to Pennsylvania for the holiday season but he must then return to Colorado as part of his probation.
For those of you who didn’t know about it, DeepDiscount’s buy 1 get 1 free DVD sale on Fox movies and TV box sets ends tomorrow. There are lots of TV show box sets included in the sale. If you’re into collecting movies and TV box sets (as I am), you should check it out: Fox DVDs - Buy 1 Get 1 Free (sale is over). Just enter the code BOGOFOXMGM during checkout.
They’re also having another buy one get one free DVD sale on Anchor Bay DVDs, which include television shows like Roseanne, Grounded For Life, Three’s Company and others. This sale doesn’t have as much as the Fox sale, but it has a few goodies. The Anchor Bay sale ends December 19th, so don’t forget to browse through the titles listed on that one as well: Anchor Bay DVDs - Buy One Get One Free (sale is over). For this sale, enter the code BOGOANCBAY during checkout.
If you try and purchase too many items on 1 order, the buy one get one free prices wont go through, so place a few seperate orders if you have to. Standard shipping is free so multiple orders wont cost you any extra money.
I ordered every King of The Hill season and a few other box sets. You can’t really beat some of the prices, even on eBay. They originally had the 61 disc X-Files Complete Collectors Set on the Fox dvd sale for $230, so you could get two of them for that price. It retails for about $270 so I tried to order 6 of them, but they ran out too fast and said that they couldn’t get anymore. I wanted to keep one of them, give another one to someone for Christmas and sell the rest, but I guess I didn’t find the sale soon enough.
Everyone is doing some major shopping this holiday season and most people will almost certainly charge everything onto one or more credit cards. Anyone who uses a credit card knows that if you don’t get the balance paid off, you get some nasty finance charges. Depending on your interest rate, those finanace charges can really add up. There is a simple way to temporarily avoid finance charges if you can’t afford to pay off your balance as soon as you had hoped.
Go to the store and buy a money order for the full balance (assuming the balance isn’t something like ten grand). Instead of paying for the money order with cash or writing a check, just charge the money order with the same credit card that the money order is going to pay off. This will get the balance paid off, and then re-add the balance right back to the credit card, leaving you with a paid-in-full statement and no finance charges. This comes in pretty handy if you don’t have a ridiculously huge balance and it allows you to save and put money back until you can really afford to pay the balance off.
I just came across this video on LiveLeak. This guy walks up, not even 10 feet from where a cop is talking to a woman and he steals the womans car. All caught on video in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Howard Stern. I’ve probably got a hundred VHS tapes from recording the shows back on the E! channel. I subscribed to Sirius Satellite Radio for a while just to listen to Howard’s show, but after a while I had to choose between Sirius and the Howard TV OnDemand programming and I chose Howard TV. They could update the OnDemand content alot more frequently than they currently do, but I really enjoy it none the less. The only thing I find completely useless about the programming is this new “Miss Howard Stern Show” that they premiered back in October. Andrea aka “Miss Howard Stern” (pictured above) is one of the most annoying, useless, spoiled whores I’ve ever seen. She’s kind of hot, but the moment she opens her mouth you forget about anything that makes her remotely attractive. Once in a while when there’s nothing new on Howard TV I will go to the Miss Howard Stern section and try to watch an episode. As soon as the episode starts and I hear her speak, I can’t bare to keep watching.
The Miss Howard Stern show actually has great production. It really shows that if the Stern team wanted to create something original and worth watching, they could definitely do it. Too bad the talent is being wasted on something as annoying as Andrea. I would pay good money just to see someone walk up and sucker punch this girl in the throat. Oh yes, it’s that serious.
I just thought that I would share this with everyone.
Here’s a clip for anyone who thinks I’m exaggerating:
