A friend of mine is coming in from out of town and he asked If he could stay at my place for about a week. I wouldn’t have a problem with that if it wasn’t for his damn kids. They’re always stomping around and breaking stuff and I really don’t feel like dealing with that for a week strait. I’ve found a few local hotel deals for him so I don’t really feel that bad for saying no.
I’ve been wanting to buy a new memory foam mattress for a while now. I layed down on one in a mattress store a few months ago and it was the most comfortable mattress I had ever layed on. I have alot of lower back pain when I get out of bed just about every morning and I really think a memory foam mattress would help alot.
About a week and a half ago I picked up a new video camera from Best Buy. I checked out reviews for about ten different cameras under five hundred bucks and I ended up choosing the Panasonic PV-GS320. It’s a 3CCD video camera and picks up colors like no other video camera I’ve seen for under $500. Circuit City had the GS320 on sale for $369.99, but their warranty price and service is junk. I went to Best Buy and had them do a price match for Circuit City’s price and I got a 4 year warranty from Best Buy for $99. So I got a nice 3CCD video camera, a tall tripod, a carrying case and a 4 year warranty for $540 with tax and all. That’s really the best buy I’ve seen on this camera other than buying it from eBay. The video quality from the camera is even better than I ever expected. I can’t wait until we get some sun light so I can really take it out and see what it’s made of.
A friend of mine has really been hounding me about getting some good life insurance coverage in case something would happen to me. I’ve never really thought about life insurance much until now. I’ve called a couple companies to see what kind of options I’ve got, but I still don’t quite understand it all yet. I don’t know if I want whole life insurance or term life insurance or what.

A friend of mine is always throwing parties and he recently added a new beer pong table to his long list of games and entertainment. Usually when he has a party there is anywhere from 15 to 100 people there and everyone has a great time. I’d say at least half of the people who come to his parties end up passing out and sleeping at his place til the next morning.
I am in the middle of adding some new motion sensor lights to the outside of my home. My girlfriend always hears noises outside and gets paranoid because it’s so dark out there and she thinks that someone is walking around. These lights should put her mind at ease. Well, unless there really is someone walking around, then she’ll just be that much more freaked.
A few weeks ago I replaced our bathroom fixtures. At first I was just going to replace the sinks, but then I decided to go ahead and replace the faucets and some other things as well. I added some new lighting to our main bathroom and it really seemed to change the whole look of the bathroom. After our best friends came over and saw the dramatic change, they’re going to remodel their bathrooms as well.

My girlfriend absolutely loves her cat. She recently even went as far as buying cat furniture for it to lay on and rub up against. Personally I am more of a dog person. I can’t stand how much cats shed. I don’t allow our cat to come into our room at night because I usually lay my clothes out for work in the morning and I don’t want a million cat hairs all over them.

I’ve been thinking about purchasing some additional life insurance for a while now. I’ve received life insurance quotes from several companies and I’m still not sure who I should go with or which type of life insurance plan I should sign up for. This is a pretty big deal. If I sign up for the wrong kind of plan, my family may not be covered if something happens to me.

A friend of mine from work has been talking about investing some of his savings into commercial real estate. I don’t think that I would ever have the guts to invest my money into something like that. He keeps telling me that I should invest with him, but I just don’t think I can bring myself to do it. My girlfriend would probably kill me if I did it anyway.
