The simplest explanation I can think of is that the video files you're watching only contain a 2-channel stereo audio track, rather than full AC3 5.1 audio. If you're watching mostly DivX / XviD files and would like better sound, try downloading a video with AC3 audio and see if you get better results. I hope this helps. :) Hey, Cher. Though i have noticed one thing... the dvd player is connected to a sony home cinema system, and whenever i play movies from the USB, the sound only plays from 2 channels and not 5. Why is this?
