Anti-Aging Eye Cream

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

My aunt recently started using anti-aging eye cream or anti-wrinkle eye cream. She has tried several different eye cream brands in the past and wasn’t happy with any of them, but the one she is using now really seems to be working very well. It’s called Prototype #37-C. I guess it’s the world’s first 99% peptide serum and works very, very well. I’m thinking about buying some for my mother, because she is always trying different wrinkle creams and eye cream, too.

My New Plasma TV Stand

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Last weekend I was at Nebraska Furniture Mart and picked up a new plasma TV stand for my room. It looks so much better than I thought it was going to look. I don’t know why I waited until now to buy a TV stand. I think it looks even better than having it mounted on the wall. It wasn’t that expensive, either. My neighbor saw mine and now he’s planning on buying the same exact one.

Area Rugs Are Nice

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Some of the newest and nicest homes built today often have hard wood floors instead of carpet throughout the entire home. There are many homes that have area rugs in different rooms that match in pattern or color to the decor in the bedrooms, dining areas and other rooms. It really makes the colors stand out in different ways. Some people often have oriental or other decorative items sitting on tables and shelves and other areas. They then buy area rugs with an oriental pattern to match. There are many different patterns and colors to choose from that can match the rest of your designer items in your home. You can usually find area rugs at a reasonable price if you take your time and price around before buying.

Computer Desks

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

We own several computers in our home. One is for the children, one is for myself for pleasure, one is for my wife for pleasure, and we have three others we use for our businesses that we run from our home. We have a few different kinds of computer desks for all of them. Some of the desks are metal and others are wood. Our last one was bought at a used furniture store. We were shocked at how cheap we paid for it. We always like to find one, when needed, that will last for a long time. There are so many kinds of computer desks in many shapes, sizes and material they are made with.

Getting The Most Out Of Exercise Equipment

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

I have read so much about how exercise and eating right will keep your body so much healthier. I had not really ever taken it that serious before. It just seems like so many people die all the time with different diseases that nobody really knows what causes them. I started taking it so serious and bought books to read about the right choices in the food you eat and different exercise programs. I decided to join a gym so I could work out, too. After joining the gym, I had the director of the center walk through all the machines and explain what each one did for a person’s body. The one I use the most is the elliptical. Whenever I go to the gym now, if the ellipticals are all being used, I will walk on the treadmill, or use another piece of equipment until someone leaves and one is free to use then I get on that one. It is amazing what it does for a person’s body. I am now thinking about buying one for me to have at home, to use at my own convenience, when my gym contract I signed is completed, instead of signing up for another year

Shipping For Bedroom Furniture

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

My girlfriend has been trying to get me to go shopping for bed frames and other bedroom furniture for the past couple of weeks. I keep telling her that it makes no difference to me, because I know we’re just going to end up buying whatever she likes the best anyway. But, she is insisting that I come along for the ride. Hopefully we can find some good deals on bedroom furniture during the holiday sales this year. I didn’t really find anything during the Black Friday sales last year.

Philips DVP-5990 With USB 2.0

Monday, November 24th, 2008

I recently picked up a new SD card to use with my Philips DVP-5990 DVD player with a USB 2.0 port. You can plug in just about any USB mass storage device, such as external hard drives, USB thumb drives, SD cards with USB card readers, and so on. It has become my favorite new media player. I’ve been using a Transcend 16GB SDHC card (SD High Capacity) with Transcend compact card reader combo. It’s so nice being able to play videos I edit and that sort of thing right from USB devices without having to burn the video onto a DVD-R first. I recommend the DVP-5990 to anyone looking for a great and affordable USB media player. It’s also a 1080p upconverting DVD player.

Thinking About Buying A PDA

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

Lots of people at my office carry PDAs to keep track of their schedules, use them for navigation while driving and that sort of thing. One of the other office managers asked if I wanted to buy his old PDA from him. It wasn’t even that old, he’s just one of those people who always have to have the newest version of something as soon as it comes out. I’m thinking about buying it from him. He only wanted $100 for it and it’s goes for over $400 brand new. My girlfriend would probably kill me if I wasted the money on a PDA, but I kind of enjoyed playing around with it.

He Loved The Shoes

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

My nephews birthday was last weekend and we all had a great time at his party. I picked him up a pair of Clarks shoes that he had been talking about and didn’t want to buy for himself. He’s a clean cut kid and likes to dress nice. The shoes looked great on him and he seemed very happy that I remembered to buy the ones he showed me last month while we were walking around the mall. I guess paying attention pays off.

New HDMI Splitter

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

I have a couple different DVD players that connect to my plasma tv through HDMI, but the TV only has 1 HDMI port for some reason. The other day I picked up an HDMI splitter to try out and it works great. I can hook up both of my Philips 1080P upconverting players and my Xbox 360 without having to unplug one device to use another.
