I often work very long hours on my job. This week I am working fourteen hours a day. My usual schedule at work was eight hours a day. After I got off work, I would always go home for approximately an hour or so to relax. I would then go to the gym to work out. It helped my body stay in shape and also was very relaxing to me. After working longer hours this week, I also found out that I will be working these hours quite often. I couldn’t figure out how I was going to fit the workout at the gym into my schedule daily, with these hours at my job. I finally decided to purchase a treadmill and other equipment for my home. It has really been handy. None of the equipment was as expensive as I thought it would be. It’s also been great being able to work out at my own pace and time. I even walk on my treadmill longer. Now, I’m thinking about adding more equipment to the pieces I have now.

Many people don’t realize that the volume of their television or stereo may be bothering other people. The loudness is especially bothersome to others during the evening hours or night time. The best solution to that situation is to use headphones. I use them at night, when unable to sleep and am watching television. There are so many different brands and types. You can often buy a cheaper priced set of headphones that has the same features as more expensive ones. The only difference could be how fancy looking they appear to be.

I changed jobs a couple of months ago. I was getting tired of how my last job was being managed. Everyone’s hours were always being changed and they were constantly being moved from one department to another. When asking for a raise, nobody ever was able to get one. I have always had a job where I worked inside. My new job involves a lot of driving to different areas, towns and places. Many of the places I was having to drive to were not familiar to me. I was constantly having to read a map, look it up on the internet or ask someone for directions. I, then, decided to buy a portable GPS unit for my truck. It makes it so much easier and faster now. All I have to do now is enter the address I am driving to and it tells me exactly how to get there. I don’t know how I lived this long without a GPS unit in my vehicle.

My nephew recently was having a birthday party for his 21st birthday. There were over twenty five people invited. Everyone was bringing alcohol, gag gifts and clothing to the party. Nobody really had any idea what to get him. My wife and I were having problems deciding, as well. We shopped and shopped in malls, stores, specialty stores and many other places. He had bought himself a new mustang just a few months prior to his birthday, so we even shopped for something to get him for his new mustang. It seemed as though everything we saw, he already had. Other items we saw were things he already said he didn’t want. He was so proud of his new car so we wanted to buy something to help him customize it, but just didn’t know what. Finally, we found a store that specialized strictly in Mustang accessories. It was many miles away from where we live, but decided to drive there anyway. After speaking to the sales person about the gift we were trying to find, he suggested a gift certificate. He explained how the store can special order a lot of items that people were looking for. They even had a catalog that we could take, to put with the gift certificate. My nephew could order what he wanted out of the catalog, if he saw something he wanted, instead of driving to the store. We finally found the gift we wanted and bought it. When he opened it at the party, he was so excited. He loved what we gave him. He was ready to go shopping with it right then. We never knew there was a store that specialized in Mustang accessories only. We were so glad we found it. By going there and purchasing a gift certificate, it ended up being his favorite gift. Since he worked long hours, he used the certificate to order out of the catalog and ended up getting several items that he saw that he had never seen before. We came to the conclusion that sometimes it pays to shop at a store that specializes in one specific item, instead of a store that sells many different styles and items.

A while back I was at this nice little jewelry store in the city and I found some nice freshwater pearls for my girlfriend. She lives pearl necklaces and I knew she would be thrilled that I thought of her while I was out and about. Well, I was right. She absolutely loved them. She said it was the best gift that I had ever gave her for no birthday or holiday.

I recently purchased a small LCD TV and mounted it in my kitchen. My girlfriend has been watching the heck out of it while she cooks and does dishes and other things in the kitchen. I got the television for a very good price from a local electronics store that was going out of business. I wish I would have picked up a few more things before they closed, but It’s too late now.

I am about to give one of my computers a much needed memory upgrade. The computer that I use for everyday stuff like surfing the web and that sort of thing currently has 2gb of DDR PC3200 ram. The one that I’m going to upgrade still only has 256mb. I’m really trying to turn the other computer into my new media station. I do a lot of video editing, graphics, web design and that sort of thing, so I really need a computer that can keep up with everything.

The other office manager’s have asked me to take care of upgrading some of the computer’s in our main office. So far they’ve asked me to upgrade the ram, hard drives and monitors. I think I’m going to make a bulk order of some Dell memory from 4AllMemory.com and order the rest of the stuff from a local computer distributor that I always go through.

We had owned all of our patio and outdoor furniture for a few years, so decided to buy all new for our patio and yard. We bought all teak furniture because of how well and strong it is made. It will last for many years and will not rot easily due to all different weather conditions. It is very solid wood. We have had to replace our furniture a few times and now will not have to for many years. We even got a 30 day warranty if we decided that we wanted to return it.

A friend of mine recently purchased several chrome accessories for his Dodge Charger. He picked up a T-Rex Hybrid Mesh Grille, some ncie chrome door handles, chrome fender trim, chrome tail light bezels, a chrome gas cap and a pair of chrome fender vents. I didn’t think that the chrome extras would really make the car pop like it did. The car really looks nice now. I’m jealous.
