Kenny vs Spenny - One of My New Favorite Shows

I love stuff like Johnny Knoxville’s “Jackass” and Bam Margera’s “CKY” videos. I recently started watching a show called Kenny vs Spenny on Comedy Central. I had no idea that the show had been airing in Canada for 3 previous seasons. South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are probably the only reason why the show made it onto American television via Comedy Central. The first time I caught Kenny vs Spenny on tv was when I was bored and flipping through channels trying to find something to watch. I turned the channel to Comedy Central and stumbled onto something that quickly became one of my favorite shows. Netflix currently has Kenny vs Spenny season 1 (from 2003) in case anyone didn’t know.

If you haven’t seen Kenny vs Spenny, here is a random clip from the show:

The History of Howard Stern - MP3s

Howard Stern Fist LogoRight now on the Howard Stern show they’re playing “The History of Howard Stern”. It’s a five-part audio documentary that chronicles Howard Stern’s life and career. The History of Howard Stern includes interviews with friends and family as well as old Howard Stern radio show clips and more. So far it’s been pretty interesting and entertaining.

If you don’t have Sirius, or if you just havent been able to listen for some reason, you can check out the current MP3s on this RapidShare page: The History of Howard Stern MP3s (the password for the page is sternrules) or you can check out the audio trailer for it here: audio trailer.

The schedule for The History of Howard Stern is as follows:

December 17th at 6 am ET - “The Early Years”
December 18th at 6 am ET - “Howard’s Radio Journey Begins”
December 19th at 6 am ET - “Mr. Stern Goes To Washington”
December 20th at 6 am ET - “Welcome To The Big Apple”
December 21st at 6 am ET - “End Of The WNBC Era”

Read more about The History of Howard Stern (opens in new window).

*I didn’t create the MP3s on RapidShare. I am simply sharing the link I found.

December 21st, 2007 - I just noticed that Act 4 “Welcome To The Big Apple” has been added to the RapidShare page. So far Acts 1 through 4 have been added, leaving only one more to go. Lovely.

December 22nd, 2007 - Act 5 “End Of The WNBC Era” has been added to the RapidShare page, making The History of Howard Stern complete. It says Act 5 is the complete recording from the replay, not the original air that was cut off at the start.

He was sentenced to 10 years to life of intensive supervised probation and was told that he can no longer portray his ‘character’ and appear on television, sign autographs or write a book about his experience.

Don Vito must also undergo mental health and substance abuse evaluations and register as a sex offender. He faces an additional 12 counts of allegedly violating his bonds. He was given permission to travel to Pennsylvania for the holiday season but he must then return to Colorado as part of his probation.

Buy One Get One Free DVD Sales - Ending Soon

For those of you who didn’t know about it, DeepDiscount’s buy 1 get 1 free DVD sale on Fox movies and TV box sets ends tomorrow. There are lots of TV show box sets included in the sale. If you’re into collecting movies and TV box sets (as I am), you should check it out: Fox DVDs - Buy 1 Get 1 Free (sale is over). Just enter the code BOGOFOXMGM during checkout.

They’re also having another buy one get one free DVD sale on Anchor Bay DVDs, which include television shows like Roseanne, Grounded For Life, Three’s Company and others. This sale doesn’t have as much as the Fox sale, but it has a few goodies. The Anchor Bay sale ends December 19th, so don’t forget to browse through the titles listed on that one as well: Anchor Bay DVDs - Buy One Get One Free (sale is over). For this sale, enter the code BOGOANCBAY during checkout.

If you try and purchase too many items on 1 order, the buy one get one free prices wont go through, so place a few seperate orders if you have to. Standard shipping is free so multiple orders wont cost you any extra money.

I ordered every King of The Hill season and a few other box sets. You can’t really beat some of the prices, even on eBay. They originally had the 61 disc X-Files Complete Collectors Set on the Fox dvd sale for $230, so you could get two of them for that price. It retails for about $270 so I tried to order 6 of them, but they ran out too fast and said that they couldn’t get anymore. I wanted to keep one of them, give another one to someone for Christmas and sell the rest, but I guess I didn’t find the sale soon enough. :(

The Miss Howard Stern Show

Andrea from The Miss Howard Stern ShowI’ve always been a huge fan of Howard Stern. I’ve probably got a hundred VHS tapes from recording the shows back on the E! channel. I subscribed to Sirius Satellite Radio for a while just to listen to Howard’s show, but after a while I had to choose between Sirius and the Howard TV OnDemand programming and I chose Howard TV. They could update the OnDemand content alot more frequently than they currently do, but I really enjoy it none the less. The only thing I find completely useless about the programming is this new “Miss Howard Stern Show” that they premiered back in October. Andrea aka “Miss Howard Stern” (pictured above) is one of the most annoying, useless, spoiled whores I’ve ever seen. She’s kind of hot, but the moment she opens her mouth you forget about anything that makes her remotely attractive. Once in a while when there’s nothing new on Howard TV I will go to the Miss Howard Stern section and try to watch an episode. As soon as the episode starts and I hear her speak, I can’t bare to keep watching.

The Miss Howard Stern show actually has great production. It really shows that if the Stern team wanted to create something original and worth watching, they could definitely do it. Too bad the talent is being wasted on something as annoying as Andrea. I would pay good money just to see someone walk up and sucker punch this girl in the throat. Oh yes, it’s that serious.

I just thought that I would share this with everyone.

Here’s a clip for anyone who thinks I’m exaggerating:

Warning: contains foul language.

PimpMyRide.com Has Nothing To Do With The Popular MTV Show

A friend of mine online saw an advertisement for PimpMyRide.com about 6 months ago. He went to the website and found a place to sign up and apply to get his car “pimped”. After about 6 months he received the following email:

Subject: Congratulations! You’ve been selected from PimpMyRide.com

Congratulations!! You’re application has been reviewed and you have been selected!! Please follow the link provided with details on how to complete your application process and Get Pimped!

http://www.pimpmyride.com/finalistapplication.html

NOTE: If you do not follow through the final application process your spot will be given to the next most qualified applicant. Due to the large volume of requests we require a small application/processing fee.

He was excited at the mere possibility of having his car customized by the popular MTV television show. He forwarded the email to me and asked if I thought it was legitimate. When I read the email and saw that they were asking for an “application/processing fee”, it got me pretty suspicious. I checked around and apparently several people have been duped into sending money to them, in hopes of having their car fixed up and being on the MTV show. I came across a post on the consumer blog at ABC13.com titled “Houston woman finds Pimp My Ride web site has nothing to do with MTV” which can be found here: http://consumerblog.abc13.com/2007/09/houston-woman-f.html

The report explains how the PimpMyRide.com website actually works. The website is run by a company which is based out of the Caribbean island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis. The website also admits that it is in no way affiliated with MTV and claims the application/processing fee just makes the person eligible to receive discounts on auto parts and accessories.

Who knows how many people have been scammed into sending these people money. Do your friends and family a favor and pass this message on so that these scammers do not continue to make money by misleading unsuspecting people.

America’s Next Top Model

Come September 18, tv viewers will see the return of Tyra Banks’ “America’s Next Top Model”. Who would have thought that Tyra could hold this show down for five seasons. I didn’t. The show has improved with each season and makes it one of the most popular to watch whenever it is on. This year a young lady from my state of Connecticut would vying for the coveted title. Let’s wish her all the luck.

Cold Case Is A Great Show

I’m probably the last person to see the show, but I just got into the show Cold Case. It’s basically like CSI but without all of the blood and guts. It’s about a young attractive woman detective who investigates crimes from the past which have remained unsolved. She interviews past witnesses and makes use of todays technology to solve murders and other crimes to bring peace to their family and friends. If you havent seen it, you should check it out.

Burn Notice

I recently started watching a new television show called “Burn Notice” on the USA cable network. The show is about a spy who is basically fired while on a job, leaving his credit and life up in the air. He searches to find out who gave the “Burn Notice” order to have him fired and takes on various spy-type jobs to make extra money and help people along the way.

So far there are only 3 episodes out, so if you want to check it out, you don’t have much to catch up on.
